(BLOOMINGTON) - Sheriff James L. Kennedy reports that the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating an armed robbery that was reported to have taken place on August 9th.
On August 9th, 2011, an investigation was initiated by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office when a victim reported that, at approximately 2:30am, two masked men forcibly entered his home, robbed him at gun point and tied him up with a dog leash.
A laptop computer and $2400 in cash was reportedly taken from the home. No one was injured during the incident.
Detectives did identify the two suspects in this incident as 20 year old Cesar E. Salazar and 19 year old Bryce E. Brahaum; both of Bloomington. Both suspects have been arrested on charges of robbery, burglary and confinement; all class "B" felonies.
