Apartment Fire Leaves Residents Homeless

(BLOOMFIELD) - A fire at an apartment complex left several Greene County families without a home Sunday night.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. at the Shady Grove Apartments on East Church Street in Bloomfield.

Firefighters believe it started as a kitchen fire in one apartment. The fire damaged six apartments.

Firefighters say everyone got out safely.

The American Red Cross is helping those families that lost their homes.
