(BEDFORD) - Bedford Utilities issued a precautionary boil order for Woodland Drive, Shandell Drive and Greentree Drive.
The boil order will remain in force until further notice. The order was issued because of repairs to a water line.
Residents of the affected areas should bring all water to a boil and let it boil vigorously for 2 minutes. Let water cool before using.
Residents also may use bottled water.
Pre-boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, brushing teeth, washing vegetables, washing dishes, making infant formula, all food preparation and consumption, and making or using ice.
For more information, contact Bedford Utilities during business hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at 275-1626. After hours, residents may call the water filtration plant at 275-7173.
