(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomfield man was arrested Friday after walking in the middle of traffic in Bloomington and waving a knife at police officers.
40-year-old Anthony Sudano was charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest and obstructing traffic.
Police went to West Country Club Drive, between Rockport Road and Rogers Street after motorist called police saying a man was waving a knife and yelling.
When police arrived Sudano walked toward them waving the knife. Officers pointed their guns at Sudano and asked him to drop the knife, which he did. Police then attempted to arrest Sudano, who struggled with them.
Once Sudano was arrested, police found a folding knife in his pocket, and a knife in a sheath on his waist. He was also had a prescription of methadone.
