(BLOOMFIELD) - A Bloomfield man was arrested on federal charges of distribution of child pornography, after an investigation by Indiana State Police.
Rodney L. Davis, 53, was charged with using internet chat software to send hundreds of child pornography images to an undercover police officer and posted child pornography to an online social networking account.
Joseph H. Hogsett, United States Attorney, said during a search warrant served in May, police found hundreds of child pornography images.
According to Assistant U.S. Attorney A. Brant Cook, who is prosecuting the case, davis faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
An initial hearing will be scheduled in Terre Haute, before a U.S. Magistrate Judge. No date has been set at this time.
