(Bloomington) - A Bloomington women was arrested after she stabbed a man on the cities’ south side, Saturday afternoon.
Dianna E. Bennett, 62, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery for stabbing a man in the stomach with a knife.
Bloomington Police Sgt. Shane Rasche said, the man's injuries were not considered life-threatening. The man, who is not being identified by police, was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for treatment.
The stabbing happened at a home on the 3100 block of South Walnut Street Pike.
Bennet is being held at the Monroe county Jail on a $20,000 bond.
