(NORMAN) - Twenty-two bluegrass and gospel bands will perform during the Norman Station Conservation Club’s Fall Bluegrass Festival Friday through Sunday.
Performances are scheduled from 4-9 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. A church service with David Fisher will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday, followed by more bluegrass from noon to 3 p.m.
Campsites are available on the club's 3½-acre lake. Call Ron Sage at (812) 869-0850 for a reservation.
For early camping arrivals & others, a pitch-in Bean Supper will be held at the main shelter house at 6 p.m. Thursday. Food will be available for the duration of the festival.
Those attending should take lawn chairs.
The club is 4½ miles north of U.S. 50 from the Leesville/Fort Ritner turn-off (Norman Road, or Jackson County Road 1250 West) then go one-tenth of a mile east on County Road 450 North, or three-quarters of a mile south on U.S. 58 at Norman Station stop sign then one-tenth of a mile east on County Road 450 North. Watch for signs.
