(UNDATED) - The NSWC Crane chapter of the Association of Old Crows is looking for scholarship applications for the 2011-2012 academic year.
The NSWC Crane chapter of the Association of Old Crows is looking for scholarship applications for the 2011/2012 academic year.
Students in their 3rd or 4th year of a science or engineering program are encouraged to apply. The Crane Chapter anticipates at least two scholarship awards of $2,500.00 each.
Application packages must include a resume, college transcript, application form, and a 200 word essay on why the applicant wishes to work in the Electronic Warfare field.
NSWC Crane has approximately 900 dedicated employees working on Electronic Warfare systems for the Department of Defense.
The application procedures are
1. Must be an Indiana resident
2. Must be accepted and enrolled prior to submission of application
3. Declared major must be in a science or engineering field which includes but is not limited to engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, operations research, or computer science
4. Must be at least a 3rd year student (junior)
5. Must submit a resume
6. Must submit copies of college transcripts
7. Must complete and submit a scholarship application
8. Applications must be received by 31 October 2011
9. Must be a US citizen
10. Submit a 200 word essay as per the attached AOC scholarship application
The Crane chapter expects to award scholarships by 11 November 2011.
