According to a court affidavit, the Lanes beat up and forced Tanya Shidler, Marty Lane's girlfriend into a car.
Shidler told police Marty Lane hit her in the face repeatedly, while his daughter, Kayla, held her down.
The couple then forced Shidler, who was at a friend's house, into a car. Kayla drove, while Marty Lane kept his arm around the woman's throat..
Shidler told police she was able to escape from the car twice, but each time Marty Lane told his daughter to catch her and she did, holding Shidler down until Marty Lane could begin attacking her again, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Shidler told police she was able to escape by running across a field, through a wooded area and back to her friend's home.
