(SPRINGVILLE) - The cause of a fire that destroyed a home on Hobbieville Road late Sunday night is under investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office.

Firefighters from four departments battled the blaze for almost four hours. Firefighters arrived at the scene at 11:32 p.m.
When firefighters arrived the house was engulfed. Firefighters say flames were visible from about 3 miles away. The home was destroyed, according to firefighters.
