(DAVIESS COUNTY) -Three people sustained head injuries in a four-wheeler accident Sunday morning at 3:24 am according to Daviess County Sheriff’s Department officials.
The accident happened on County Road 900 South, east of County Road 850 East, when 32-year-old Larry Kemp, of Loogootee, lost control of the 4-wheeler on the gravel road, and began to fishtail, police say.
The 4-wheeler went off the south side of the road and flipped.
Kemp and his passengers, 39-year-old Melissa Calhoun, of Cannelburg and 22-year-old Sasah Stuffle, of Washington, were all thrown from the 4-wheeler.
According to a police report, the accident was caused by excessive speed.
