(LINTON) - 29-year-old Ryan R. Lewis, of Linton was arrested after he jumped out of a window and ran from police.
Linton police responded to a domestic disturbance at 6th Street North East early Sunday morning. When they arrived Lewis jumped out the window and ran.
Lewis was caught a short time later in the area of 7th Street NE, according to Linton Police officer Thomas A. Jerrels.
After a records check police found Lewis was wanted on two warrants issued through Greene County Superior Court. The first warrant was for failure to appear on a criminal mischief charge and damage or defacing the property of another without consent - a class B misdemeanor. The second warrant was a petition to revoke a suspended sentence on an operating a vehicle while intoxicated in a manner endangering a person with a prior conviction - a class D felony.
Lewis was arrested on those warrants and also charged with resisting law enforcement, a class A misdemeanor. He was taken to the Bloomfield County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
