(BEDFORD) - 49-year-old Brian C. Hostetler was found guilty of battery with a deadly weapon and resisting law enforcement by a jury in Lawrence Superior Court I Tuesday.
Hostetler was found not guilty of battery resulting in injury. The jury deliberated for about two hours.
According to court records, Hostetler hit Bedford Police Officer Key Louden with the handle of a hammer on March 3.
Judge Michael Robbins ordered Hostetler be held at the Lawrence County Jail until his sentencing on October 21.
