(COLUMBUS) - Columbus police are looking for a man who stabbed is girlfriend during a domestic fight Thursday night.
Police were called to Columbus Regional Hospital at 9:50 p.m. reporting emergency personnel were treating a 21-year-old woman with a stab wound. The wound is non-life-threatening, police said.
The women refused to provide police with details on how she was stabbed or who did it. But police now believe the woman was stabbed, with a knife, during a domestic fight with her boyfriend. The fight happened in a home on North Cherry Street, said Columbus Police Department Detective Mike Ward.
Police are not releasing the names of the individuals involved because the case is still under investigation.
Police have spoken to the boyfriend and he too is being uncooperative. Anyone with information can contact Ward at 812-376-2600.
