(FRENCH LICK) - The Indiana Department of Transportation reports temporary lane restrictions on Ind. 56 in Orange County.
Beginning Sept. 6, traffic will be restricted down to one lane on Ind. 56 from the junction of Ind. 145 to the junction of U.S. 150 for milling and paving operations. Work will begin at approximately 8 p.m. and the road will be open to traffic by 6 a.m. each day. Crews estimate the paving operation to be completed by the end of September, weather permitting.
Construction crews will work night-time hours to reduce the impact to motorists. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic in and out of the work zones
