(BLOOMINGTON) - Some Bloomington residents may not send their students to school today after a threat was written on a wall at Jackson Creek Middle School.
Police will be at the school this morning.
Parents were sent an email Friday from JCMS principals saying "They found on the bathroom wall a threat "Be Ready for a shooting Mondy."
The threat was reported to Bloomington police. The word Monday was misspelled in the threat.
Parents were asked to monitor Facebook and other social medias and report any findings to police.
School officials are reviewing security camera tapes and trying to get more information.The principal has asked anyone with information to call police or school officials.
