(CELESTINE) - A Celestine man was injured sometime early Saturday morning when his pickup truck crashed into a creek embankment.
The Dubois County Sheriff's Department says 20-year old Brock Hopf was injured when his pickup truck left Celestine Road South about 200 feet south of County Road 100 South.
Police say the truck missed a bridge guard rail, but traveled across a creek before crashing into an embankment and rolling over into the creek.
Police say Hopf was able to crawl out of the truck and make it back up onto Celestine Road where a passerby found him at about 10 a.m. Saturday morning. Police say the accident itself happened sometime after 3 a.m.
Hopf was taken to Memorial Hospital in Jasper before he was life-flighted to an Evansville hospital with leg and internal injuries. His condition this morning is not known.
