(COLUMBUS) - Two families were displaced from their homes after fire swept through a duplex in the 1300 block of Sycamore Street in Columbus Tuesday evening.
Public Information Officer Matt Noblitt says flames were seen shooting out of the home when firefighters arrived just after 7:30pm.
Damage is estimated at $70,000 while the cause remains unknown. One male resident was treated for smoke inhalation at Columbus Regional Hospital.
