(HARRODSBURG ) - After more than 30-years of terrifying locals, the Harrodsburg Haunted House will close its doors for the last time on Halloween night.
Clear Creek Township Trustee Thelma Kelley Jeffries said it's time to quit.
Jeffries says it is a lot of work and with the expense and all the government and state permits and laws they have to follow, it was just time to shut the doors.
She's loved running the facility for the last 30 years, but sometimes traditions have to die. "It will be sad, but it's going to happen," she said.
