(BEDFORD) - The “Welcome to Bedford” sign has returned to the derrick along HWY 37 near 39th Street.
The repair was made possible through the cooperative efforts of Dan Kirk of the city of Bedford, Jay Anderson, the owner of the lifting device, the Lawrence County Tourism Commission and Johnny's Signs of Bedford.
The commission provided grant funding, according to Dave Branneman, executive director of the tourism group.
