(BLOOMFIELD) - 28-year-old Joshua Lloyd Roach, of Newark, pleaded guilty to three charges of domestic battery, Monday in Greene County Circuit Court.
He pleaded to domestic battery in the presence of a minor, a Class D felony, domestic battery with a previous conviction, a Class D felony and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor. He was arrested on Oct. 13. He will be sentenced Nov. 2.
Roach has a history of domestic violence. He was convicted on Jan. 15, 2010. He also has a pending domestic battery case filed Jan. 29, a jury trial is scheduled Nov. 15 on that case.
According to a probably cause affidavit Roach allegedly hit his wife at their Beech Creek Township home, giving her a bloody nose. Roach denied hitting his wife say he pushed her and she came after him, slapping him in the face several times.
The wife told police the couple had been fighting all nigh and that Roach pushed her on the bed several times and hurt her shoulder and arm.
The couple's two 4-year-old boys told police they "seen daddy holding mon's arms and dad's nose bleeding."
