(PEKIN) - A 17-year-old boy was hit by a car Monday morning on Ind. 60, just north of Pekin.
Washington County Sheriff's Department said the teen was hit by a 2009 Kia driven by Michelle Feist. Police say Feist was driving east on Ind. 60 and was passing another eastbound vehicle when she hit the boy.
The teen was pronounced dead at the scene, by the Washington County Coroner. The crash is still under investigation.
Additional departments that assisted on the scene are, New Pekin Police, Pierce-Polk First Responders, Washington County EMS, Indiana State Police and the Washington County Coroner.
