(UNDATED) - An arrest warrant was issued Wednesday for William Dwight Harper, of Springville.
He is being charged with burglary, a Class C felony and Theft, a Class D felony.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Greene County Circuit Court, Harper is accused of kicking in the garage door at the home of Robert A. Reed on Slick Roack Road in Bloomfield and stealing a variety of air-operated tools on Sept. 15.
Harper was a former employee of Reed. He told police Harper was a mechanic and had been fired for theft.
Greene County Sheriff's Department Detective Chris McDonald was able to match serial numbers on several of the missing tools which were found at Ace Pawn Shop and Tom Cats Pawn Shop in Bloomington. The pawn shops provided receipts showing they purchased the tools from Harper.
