(UNDATED) - The AARP Driver Safety Program is holding a nation-wide free driving safety promotion honoring veterans.
All veterans, current military personnel and spouses can take the free drive safety course. Participants must register before Oct. 28. Seating is limited.
The course normally costs $14 for non-members, but all vets can attend the class for free. One class will be taught at the American Legion on X Street in Bedford on Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Another course will be on Nov. 10 at the VFW in Mitchell. To register call Nita Scoggan at 278-8785.
