(WASHINGTON) - 26-year-old Bo Michael Scales, of Washington, is facing a slew of charges after being arrested by Washington Police officers Wednesday following car and foot chases.
Police knew Scales was wanted on a warrant in Pike County when they saw him on West Walnut Street Wednesday night.
They attempted to stop Scales' vehicle and that is when he fled driving through stop signs and yards until he crashed into a tree.The car burst into flames and the Washington Fire Department was called.
Scales and his passenger; 23-year-old Natasha Mikel, of Vincennes; jumped from the car and ran from police. Mikel was apprehended near the scene. Scales continued to run and was stopped near Cherry Street. Scales wrestled with police and then pulled out a gun that is when police tasered him.
A meth lab, ingredients and a stolen .45-caliber handgun were found in Scales' car.
