(BLOOMINGTON) - An 18-year-old man reported to police that he was hanging out at Bloomington’s Peoples Park with the Occupy Bloomington protestors Wednesday evening and started drinking with two “older” women.
The women took him to a home in the area of 17th and Dunn Streets.
The man told police that he doesn't remember much of the evening and believed that his drinks may have been drugged.
The man reported waking up around 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon to find that he was handcuffed to a bed, with a set of thumb cuffs on his thumbs. His clothes were still on.
The women apparently agreed to uncuff him, then told him to leave the house. Police took him to the hospital where the thumb cuffs were cut off.
The man didn't report that he was sexually assaulted but thought that he might have been. At the hospital, he declined a sexual assault examination and did not want to show police where the house was.
Police are not pursuing the case.
