(BEDFORD) - Another dog that was shot at a home on Teddy Bird Lane has died. Barney, had to be euthanized Saturday after suffering from seizure, according to owners Carrie Kirk and Cutis Hackler.
A bullet still lodged in the Barney's brain was putting pressure on his spinal column. Barney was one of three dogs that was shot with a small caliber handgun while in a fenced in area on Oct. 17.
Pugsley, a beagle, died a short time after being shot. Taffy, continues to improve but has impaired vision.
The dogs were shot on Oct. 17, after Hackler had left the resident for a short time. No arrest have been made, but Lawrence County Police continue to investigate and ask if anyone has any information to call the department.
The family is offering a reward to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
