(BLOOMINGTON) - 22-year-old Micheal Griffin, of Bloomington, was arrested early Sunday morning after he pointed a toy gun at officers outside a bar on North Walnut Street.
According to Bloomington Police the gun was part of a costume, but looked like a revolver.
Griffin was charged with pointing a firearm and public intoxication. He was released from the Monroe County Jail Sunday afternoon after posting $500.
Police say Griffin was walking in the 200 block of North Walnut Street with a gun in his hand around 2:45 a.m.
An officer drew his weapon and told Griffin to drop the gun. Griffin refused then placed the gun back in his waistband. No shots were fired and no one was injured during the incident.
