(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police are asking for any information that may led to the arrest of the person who robbed Peoples State Bank in the 500 block of Clarizz Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.
A man wearing dark clothing and carrying a semi-automatic handgun entered the bank, ordered everyone to the floor and demanded money.
The man described as possibly being black fled east into the Hoosier Acres neighborhood. Police searched the area for three hours with K-9 officers but were unable to locate the man.
No one was injured in the robbery, police say. Anyone with information should contact the Bloomington Police Department at 812-339-4477.
