(ST. ANTHONY) - A 15-year-old French Lick boy died after being shot while deer hunting in St. Anthony.
Indiana Conservation officers say the teen was wounded while hunting with family members Sunday afternoon near in the Dubois County town.
Police say the gun was apparently being lowered from a tree stand when it discharged, wounding the teen in the abdomen.
He was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital where he died.
The shooting remains under investigation.
