(BLOOMFIELD) - 31-year-old Travis Keller, of Jasonville. man is behind bars in the Greene County Jail following his arrest last week on four felony counts relating to child molestation and sexual misconduct with a minor.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed police were contacted by a guidance counselor at Shakamak school after a 14-year-old female student talked with her about the sexual abuse allegations on Oct. 27.
The child told authorities that the molestations date back to the year 2007. The girl allegedly was first introduced to pornography by Keller, who then performed sex acts on her on a "very regular basis" for a number of years, according to court records.
The most recent attacks happened Oct. 23 and Oct. 26.
In the Oct. 23 event, the girl said the attack happened about 11 p.m. when the suspect was taking her to the Linton Super Walmart store to purchase a Halloween costume.
On the way, Keller is alleged to have stopped in an area near Midland. The suspect, according to the girl, pulled into a secluded area and performed a sex act using a condom. She told police the used condom was thrown out of the car window. Police went to the area and found the condom.
Keller admitted to police he had molested the child. His next court date is Feb. 22, 20112.
