(COALMONT) - 34-year-old Charles Daniel Kent, of Linton, was arrested after he stabbed Bradley Rehmel during an altercation at Rehmel’s home.
Kent stopped at a home in Coalmont on Saturday to visit his 3-month-old son and his son's mother.
Rehmel told Kent he was not welcome there and a fight started.
Rehmel suffered several stab wounds to his stomach and back during the incident. He was taken to Sullivan County Hospital and flown by helicopter to Methodist Hospital.
Kent was taken to St. Vincent Clay Hospital with a broken nose.
After being treated, Kent was arrested on charges of battery with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury, trespassing and public intoxication. He is being held on a $25,000 bond.
