(BROWNSTOWN) - On Friday, Brownstown Police officer Tom Wright went to a residence in Brownstown and arrested Matthew Ray Donnell.
Donnell was wanted on a Superior Court warrant for unauthorized entry of motor vehicles for thefts that occurred at Brownstown Central High School.
During the course of the investigation, several items taken on other dates from vehicles were located at various places in Brownstown that could link Donnell to the thefts, police say.
Among the items recovered were a knife, hunting camera, laptop computer and $9.31 in change. Donnell was charged with theft and unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, with more charges possibly being filed at a later date.
It is unsure at this time if Donnell was working alone or if there are others involved. The cases are still open and the investigation continues.
