(HOPE) - 41-year-old Robert Morgan, of Hope died Saturday afternoon after riding off-road vehicles in a farm field in Bartholomew County.
According to Indiana Conservation Officers and the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department, Morgan, 41, collapsed and died after riding his 2008 Polaris Razor with friends in a field when the Razor flipped over causing him to be thrown clear of the rolling vehicle.
Morgan was not wearing a helmet, but immediately after being thrown, he only complained of minor back pain and continued to ride.
However, about forty-five minutes later, after returning home, Morgan told his family he didn't feel well and collapsed.
When medics arrived they began CPR and tried to revive Morgan while in route to the hospital. He was pronounced dead when they reached the hospital, according to the release.
The actual cause of death will be determined by an autopsy at Columbus Regional Hospital.
