(LINTON) - 20-year-old Cody Shake, of Linton, was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital following a single-vehicle wreck early Friday morning.
Shake was driving a 1998 Chevrolet S-10 pickup northbound on County Road 1375W when he left the roadway and hit a utility pole.
The truck then hit an embankment causing it to go airborne. The vehicle then struck a tree approximately five feet off of the ground. Greene County Sheriff's Department Deputy Anthony Price says the truck landed on all four tires.
Shake was entrapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by the Linton Fire Department rescue unit.
