(PAOLI) - The National Weather Service out of Louisville reports that an EF1 tornado with winds of around 95 mph hit Paoli Monday night.
According to the NWS team members they are still evaluating the damage, but preliminary indications say that the tornado had a path of roughly two miles long and a width of about 100 yards.
The Paoli police and fire stations were hit along with the courthouse building. Widespread power outages followed the storm, but no injuries were reported.
