(DUBOIS COUNTY) - A Paoli man was injured Thursday afternoon after he crashed into a tree in northern Dubois County.
Indiana State Police say the 23-year-old man was driving down State Road 56 near CR 325 E when he left the road for some unknown reason and crashed into a tree head on.
First responders had to pull the man from the wreckage. He was then flown to University of Louisville Hospital.
State Police did not have a condition for him and did not release his name. They did report he was alert at the scene. ISP said it does not appear that alcohol or drugs played a factor in the wreck.
