Pizza X South Donates Thousands To Family Of Slain Driver

Last updated on Friday, November 11, 2011

(BLOOMINGTON) - The Pizza X South store on South Walnut Street Pike plans to donate more than $42,000 in sales and donations for the family of slain pizza delivery driver 22-year-old Adam Sarnecki.

Sarnecki died from a gunshot wound after confronting a man breaking into other employees cars at his workplace on Nov. 4.

His survivors include his son, Gabriel James; fiancee, Tiffany Josh and her two children, McKenzie and Ayedon; mother, Anita Lozano; and father, Ronald Sarnecki.

Three days worth of sales from Pizza X South will be donated to Sarnecki's family, as well as donations collected at the store. Some people waited more than two hours for pizzas and demand was more than store's ovens could handle at times.

22-year-old James Finney, whose last address was Bedford, is charged with the murder.
