(FREETOWN) - Two Jackson County residents have been arrested in connection with a break-in that occurred in July in the Freetown area.
18-year-old Paul Cross and an 17-year-old boy, both of Freetown, were arrested on charges of criminal misconduct, two counts of burglary, theft and attempted theft.
The teen was taken to the Jackson County Juvenile Detention Center and later released to his parents. Crass was taken to the Jackson County Jail. He is being held on a $50,005 bond.
The two were arrested after someone gave Brownstown Police Officer Tom Wright one of the items taken from the burglary. Wright turned the item over to Jackson County Department Detective Bob Lucase who was investigating the July home burglary.
The two men cooperated with police and many of the items taken have been located.
