(BLOOMINGTON) - Volunteers spent Saturday replacing posters of a missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer that were torn down.
Recently, an anonymous letter was sent to Spierer's parents, criticizing the poster of their daughter as littering up the town.
Recently, hundreds of the posters have been taken down, followed by the letter to the missing IU junior's parents, critical of the search effort and the posters.
The volunteers admit some of the posters did not survive the weather, but they had a message for the person that tore the other posters down.
"Help us find the answers and the posters will come down," says volunteers.
Spierer was last seen early in the morning of June 3, near the intersection of 11th and College in Bloomington. Her parents are asking that if you have any information on the case, call the Bloomington Police Department.
