(BEDFORD) - An “all clear” has been given at Bedford North Lawrence High School, Circle K and Kmart following bomb threats on Wednesday.
Officials found a second note Wednesday afternoon that threatened that there was a bomb located somewhere in the Career Center. Students and personnel were evacuated to the Performing Arts Center as officials checked the building for threats.
The fourth and fifth bomb threats of the week in Bedford also happened Wednesday, according to Bedford Police Department.
In addition to a second bomb threat in two days at Bedford North Lawrence High School, there were notes found in two more locations on Wednesday afternoon.
The notes were found near 16th and O Streets at Circle K gas station, and fifth threat in three days was found at Kmart Shortly before 7pm Wednesday.
Both sites were given the all clear with no explosive materials found at either location.
On Tuesday afternoon, the building was evacuated and students were held at the North Lawrence Community Career Center. Crews from the Lawrence County Police Department, Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department and Crane Explosives Team were on the scene in order to sweep the building.
The Crane Unit was in the building for about an hour looking for any potential dangers to the students and building personnel.
Their searches came up empty and just after 2pm the all clear was given and students were allowed back into the building.
The students headed to lunch, because the building was evacuated shortly before the lunch periods began.
The investigation is under way to try and determine who was responsible for the note that was found in a bathroom.
More information as it becomes available.
