(COLUMBUS) - The Bartholomew County Emergency Management Agency received a $3600 grant from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.
EMA Director Dennis Moats says the grant is a kind of "bonus" for Bartholomew County going above and beyond the state minimum requirements for county emergency management operations. He says this money is a kind of incentive to keep the agency operating in such an efficient manner.
The funds will be used for security enhancements at the Bartholomew County Emergency Management headquarters.
