(UNDATED) - Those signing up for 4-H will now have to pay a $15 fee to the state. Those signing up in Lawrence County will also pay an additional $5 county fee.
That means signing up for 4-H will cost $20 for those in third to 12th grades, for the first three children from each family. Each additional child is free.
Mini 4-Hers will only have to pay the $5 county fee.
Registration for 4-H beings Feb. 1 and continues until April 15 and must be done online at www.four-h.purdue.edu.
Fees can be paid on line or at the County Extension office at 924 16th Street on the south side of the Bedford downtown square.
