(GUTHRIE)- Shawswick and Guthrie Volunteer Fire Departments were called to a moblie home fire at the home of Terry Pemberton, on Old Buddah Road.
Firefighters arrived at 7:34 p.m. to heavy smoke and flames coming from the home.
Shawswick Fire Chief Bobby Brown said no one was living at the rental property, but there was still electricity to the home.
Firefighters were able to douse the flames quickly, but the home was damaged, but not a total lose.
Brown said the fire started in a bedroom, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
"It only took about ten minutes for us to get the fire knocked down, thanks to the help of Shawswick firefighters," Brown said. "We are not sure yet what caused the fire. We are still investigating. We did speak to the owner and learned the last renter moved out on Dec. 20th."
Firefighters were on the scene for more than 2 hours.
