(UNDATED) - Jackson and Jennings County residents could be part of the 15,000 people in the southern part of the state seeing an increase to their natural gas bills.
Midwest Natural Gas which serves the towns of Medora, Crothersville and Brownstown is proposing to raise rates by 5 percent to help in a new energy conservation program.
The company reported it last saw an increase in rates in 2005.
