(WASHINGTON COUNTY) - Four Washington County residents were arrested on drug and burglary charges.
42-year-old, Larry Rikard, of Pekin was charged with dealing and manufacturing methamphetamines, possession of meth., possession of precursors, maintaining a common nuisance and receiving stolen property.
32-year old, Brandy Nicholson, of Campbellsburg, was charged with aiding in manufacturing meth and possession of meth.
45-year-old, Earl D. Cole, of Campbellsburg, was charged with 3 counts of aiding in burglary and 3 counts of conspiracy to commit burglary, 3 counts of aiding in theft, 3 counts of committing theft, 3 counts of receiving stolen property and possession of meth.
44-year-old, Robert D. Cole, of Campbellsburg, was charged with 3 counts of aiding in burglary, 3 counts conspiracy to commit burglary, 3 counts conspiracy to commit theft, 3 counts aiding in theft and 3 counts of receiving stolen property.
A combined effort involving local, state and federal law enforcement agents culminated in the arrest of the Washington County. All four are at the Washington County Detention Center.
On Wednesday, the Washington County Drug Team, Washington County detective, Indiana State Police drug agents, as well as DEA agents, served a search warrant at the Rikard residence, 2890 White Rd., Pekin.
Along with the drugs, they found several items stolen from previous burglaries in the county. Information gained during this investigation resulted in search warrants for the Earl Cole property at 8129 W. Cole Hollow Rd. and that of Robert D. Cole, 8155 W. Cole Hollow Rd.
Several items from recent burglaries were recovered from those residences as well.
"This case resulted from several hours of investigation and dedicated teamwork from the above-named agencies," said Roger Newlon, captain of the Washington County Sheriff's Department.
