(WASHINGTON) - 26-year-old Christina Y. Condra, originally of French Lick, was sentenced Monday to approximately 23 and a half years in the Indiana Department of Correction.
Condra entered a plea agreement in Oct. 31. She pleaded guilty in Daviess County Superior Court to revoke a suspended sentence, to conspiracy to commit dealing in methamphetamine and to escape.
The meth charge resulted from a controlled drug buy on Aug. 27, 2009, using a confidential informant. Condra coordinated the purchase of an eight ball of methamphetamine for $275. She then made arrangements for the informant to pick up the drug at Cherry Tree Apartments, which is within 1,000 feet of a family housing complex.
Condra originally was arrested on a warrant March 17, 2011, for dealing the meth, and held at the Daviess County Security Center on $100,000 bond. On March 31, she was arrested on a second petition to revoke probation in two cases.
On June 12, Condra was released to family members temporarily to attend a funeral in French Lick and failed to return at the scheduled time. She remained at large until July 20, when she was again arrested and charged with escape.
