(LINTON) - The 11th annual Buck Creek Muzzelloader’s Club Trade Fair will be held in Linton this weekend. It will showcase a simpler time.
A variety of every-day handcrafted household items from 1750 to 1840 will be available.
The fair is Saturday and Sunday at the Roy Clark Community building. It is one of the largest in a several state area, according to Club President David O'Bryan.
There will be traditional muzzleloader rifles and handguns, knives, homemade soaps, pottery, tin crafts, 18th century clothing, blankets leathers goods and other items. Dealers will be dressed in primitive clothing and music from the era will be played.
The event will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m to 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is 3 dollars with children 12 years and under free.
Money raised will be used for club activities and some donated to the city of Linton to purchase tables and make improvements to the Roy Clark Building, located north of Humphreys Park.
And on Saturday night several around 100 club members will go to Stoll's County Inn dressed in primitive attire and dine and will pose with customers for pictures.
