(BEDFORD) - City Planning Director Dan Kirk reported some recent business activity in Bedford.
He said Limestone Cafe is preparing to open on 16th Street in the former home of Churb's.
He also noted everything is on track for Becky's Place, a shelter for women and children, to open its doors within the next few weeks. The shelter is planning a community "blessing" on Tuesday, Jan. 17, to be followed by a public open house.
Kirk said Manchester Tank has received its Class 1 release from the state to add a powder coat structure on the southwest portion of its property on X Street.
And Larry Summerton earned state approval for a series of storage compartments along his location near Bundy Lane on West 16th Street, and Bedford Home Furnishings received permission from the state for a proposed addition to its facility.
