(LINTON) - The Greene County General Hospital will announce plans for a $7 million renovation and expansion project at a Wednesday morning (Feb. 1) news conference.
The news conference will take place in the hospital conference room on the Linton facility's ground floor. Hospital administrator Jonas Uland says the architect, financial consultant and other hospital officials will be present to fully explain the plans, financing and how medical services will be enhanced.
He says the renovations will not cost tax payers anything. The majority of the cost will be used to expand emergency room services.
He says with the expansions the hospital will be able to provide better services for the community.
